Training

 

Norcros Adhesives fully support the industry training objectives of the Tiling Association (TTA).
Current forecasts indicate a significant skills shortage within the U.K tile industry over the next 5 years.
At present that shortage is being addressed by immigrant trades personnel from within the EU but there still remains a requirement for domestic training programmes if  U.K. employment is to benefit from the current and projected high levels of construction activity
All products within both the Norcros and Johnson Professional ranges are fully supported by comprehensive technical literature. On-site training of tile fixers is also undertaken by Norcros Adhesives regional personnel.
We also undertake distributor and retail training for our customers from our U.K headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.
Training is provided for architects, surveyors and specifiers by way of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses presented in association with H&R Johnson Tiles.
At the 2006 TTA awards Norcros Adhesives sponsored the Individual Training Achievement category.
This award was won jointly by Mark Wilkinson of Northumberland College and Craig White of Mindon Tiling.
