Norcros Adhesives were first choice of MTM Tiles, Wellington when faced with a requirement for fast track exterior tiling at a private house in Somerset.

With over 20 years experience in the tiling industry, MTM Tiles take pride in their customer service and always strive to find a solution to meet their customers’ requirements. 

In this instance, project timings were tight and the concrete base had only been laid 2 to 3 weeks prior to the required date of the tiling commencing. 
However, as Norcros Adhesives’ confidence in specifying Permalayer™ for green screeds and concrete had also been confirmed by independent test house report from CERAM, which stated “Permalayer™ decoupling membrane allowed maximum floor loadings in excess of those given in Table 1 of BS6399 to be applied to....a green concrete floor with no damage to the ceramic tiles”, MTM Tiles were delighted to have found that Permalayer™ provided an easy, practical, fast track solution for their job in hand.

To commence the 100m² project, Norcros Prime Bond was used to seal the concrete, Norcros Permalayer™ was then easily installed over the green concrete and the 330x330 frostproof porcelain tiles were fixed using Norcros Rapid Porcelain Tile Adhesive; an ideal exterior adhesive for fixing fully vitrified tiles.  MTM Tiles were delighted that the tiles were ready to grout just 3 hours after laying.
